Conservation plays a huge role in my life. I’m so lucky to call Golden Bay home. Where I live, near Farewell Spit, I’ve been given some amazing opportunities to work with Healthpost Nature Trust, Manaaki Whenua, Pest Free Onetahua, DOC and Birds NZ on various exciting projects; fencing for Takahe to be released, microchipping mice, Fluttering Shearwater translocations, filling bait stations, wader counts, checking trap lines and surveying Fernbird, Wasps & Butterflies.

The work is rewarding and always varied. My camera is usually along for the adventure!
